Golf Code IQ™ provides standardized golf etiquette and rules education, course-specific expectations ("Know Before You Go"), a certification exam, and a Golf Standard Score system that recognizes positive on-course behavior. Golf Code IQ™ is an independent education platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for the USGA, the PGA of America, or any golf facility.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information, including your name, email address, and (if you opt in to texts) your phone number.
• One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

• Certification is granted when you pass the Golf Code IQ™ challenge with a score of 80% or higher. It indicates completion of our education program only; it is not a handicap, license, or official playing credential.
• Your Golf Standard Score is calculated from behaviors you and your courses report. Scores are for recognition and community purposes and are not a judgment of your golfing ability.
• We may correct, recalculate, or revoke certification or scores in cases of dishonest reporting, cheating, or abuse of the Service.

You agree that, when using Golf Code IQ™, you will:

• Report honestly — only log ball marks you actually fixed, your actual pace of play, and your actual round behavior.
• Never hold up play or compromise safety to interact with the Service. Etiquette and safety come first, always.
• Not harass, defame, or harm other golfers, course operators, or staff through the Service.
• Not scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service, or attempt to disrupt its operation.

By checking the SMS opt-in box on a Golf Code IQ™ signup, challenge, or course check-in form, you consent to receive recurring marketing and informational text messages from Golf Code IQ™, which may include certification reminders, golf tips, course notices from your home course, rewards updates, and other offers.

• Consent. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing anything or of taking a certification challenge. Only phone numbers you submit with an unchecked-by-default opt-in box are enrolled.
• Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply for each message sent or received, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all Golf Code IQ™ texts. Reply STOP from each enrolled number. You may also opt out in your account settings or by contacting us. We will send a confirmation text.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message for support, or email info@golfcodeiq.com.
• Carriers. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Changing numbers. If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you agree to promptly update your account to avoid messages being sent to a number you no longer control.

• Certain features, such as the Golf Code IQ™ Certified Membership and course Starter plans, are offered on a one-time or recurring-payment basis through our payment processor (Stripe).
• Recurring plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice before your next renewal.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.

The Golf Code IQ™ name, logo, certification materials, challenge content, Know Before You Go templates, and all related content are the property of Golf Code IQ™ and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission, except as they are provided to you through normal use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that certification or scoring information will always be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golf Code IQ™ and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including anything arising from your conduct on a golf course. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to any part of the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, dishonest reporting, abuse of other users, or misuse of our messaging services. You may stop using the Service at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
