9 things to know before you go
When to Show Up
Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time to allow enough time for check-in.
Where to Check In
All tee times must check in at the Pro Shop before heading to the first tee. For prepaid tee times, only one person from the group is required to check in for the entire group.
Keep Up the Pace
Please maintain an appropriate pace of play and keep up with the group ahead of you. A round at Painted Hills should be completed in approximately 4 hours or less. Please play ready golf when appropriate and limit unnecessary delays to help keep play moving for everyone.
What to Wear
Appropriate golf attire is encouraged. Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
Cart Rules
Follow all posted cart rules for the day. Please keep carts on paths around tees and greens. Check with the Pro Shop for current cart restrictions.
Warm-Up Options
Painted Hills does not have a driving range. A putting green and chipping area of approximately 40 yards are available for players to warm up before their round.
Local Rules
Please follow all posted course markings and local rules. Penalty areas and out-of-bounds areas are marked throughout the course.
Etiquette Here
Please repair ball marks, replace divots, and rake bunkers. Always be aware of your surroundings before hitting and never hit into the group ahead of you. Be especially cautious of golfers who may be out of view or searching for a ball in an adjacent area. If there is any doubt that the area ahead is clear, please wait before hitting.
Playing Conditions
Painted Hills is a shorter, par-70 course that offers a wide variety of challenges for golfers of all skill levels. From our undulating well-kept greens to our well-manicured fairways, the course rewards accuracy, smart shot selection, and a strong short game.
